Biography

Born in 1990, I am a French artist whose painting practice lies at the intersection of landscape, abstraction, and perceptual experience. My work explores the notions of time, trace, and transformation through a style of painting that is at once physical, intuitive, and structured.

My approach has its roots in graffiti, which I developed in peripheral, non-institutional spaces. This early experience profoundly shaped my relationship to the act of painting, to time, to physical engagement, and to the materiality of paint, elements that remain at the heart of my practice today.

I then pursued training at an art school in the field of art and space. After studying landscape architecture, I earned a BTS in spatial design, followed by a DPLG degree in landscape architecture from the École Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles. This dual training fuels a unique pictorial approach, in which spatial construction, scale, and stratification interact with an intuitive practice inherited from graffiti and my art school.

I have developed a personal technique that combines oil painting, spray paint, and chemical processes. Through a process of layering, erasing, and transforming the material, I create pictorial landscapes that evoke geological formations, sensory maps, or shifting mental spaces. The painting thus becomes a space where time is inscribed, where gestures accumulate like strata.

Two artist residencies marked decisive milestones in my career: in 2018 at Zinitang Creative Park in Guangzhou, China, and then in 2024 at the Pavillon des Indes residency in Courbevoie. These periods of research deepened my reflection on the relationships between form, time, and perception, and established a visual language that oscillates between abstraction and landscape.

My works do not seek to represent reality, but rather to capture its tensions and vibrations. Imperfection, chance, and erasure occupy an essential place in my work, revealing the passage of time and human presence. Painting thus opens a space for contemplation and projection, granting the viewer the freedom of a slow and sensitive experience.

My work has been featured in numerous international exhibitions, including in Guangzhou, London, Seoul, Busan, Brussels, and Paris, through solo and group shows as well as contemporary art fairs. These presentations reflect a constantly evolving practice and an interest in a variety of formats, ranging from small-scale paintings to large-scale immersive installations.
